Our Process

The Lothian Gates process, Based on a residential, electric double gate installation.

One of experienced surveyors will visit site at a time to suit you, discuss in detail all your electric gate needs and view our portfolio of completed projects.

Discuss best automation type and confirm access control requirements.

Take accurate dimensions and pictures.

Check ground levels and measure ground falls with laser level.

Carry out site safety risk assessment.

Find suitable cabling routes and check power source for suitability.

Create a on-site sketch of the planned gate installation showing ducting/ cabling and ground works.

When we have enough information from you and the site we will head back to the office and prepare for the next stage.
